While strengthening the individual components of his clients’ financial plans, Jonathan ensures the big picture works in unison. Long before making recommendations and implementing plans, he stress tests the strategies and optimizes them to fit his clients’ unique needs.
Jonathan’s command of the financial industry includes investment planning, life insurance strategies, values-based planning and more. He specializes in Special Needs Planning, a discipline that is near to his heart and crucial to his professional focus. Jonathan works closely with the guardians and trustees of special needs and mentally ill individuals to ensure their money is invested wisely so they can live comfortably and with dignity.
A graduate of Molloy College, Jonathan is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®). This qualification affirms his commitment to the highest standard of objectivity and dedication to his clients’ best interests. Along with his FINRA Series 6, 7, & 63 securities registrations, Jonathan holds his Life & Health licenses and also completed the Prudential Special Needs Planning Education Course.
Jonathan is thrilled to work alongside his father, Jim, whose reputation and expertise have long been a source of inspiration. Jonathan intends to continue the Knox tradition of financial planning service and excellence for decades to come.
A native of Melville, New York, Jonathan currently lives in Kings Park with his wife, Ashley, their two children, April and James, and their German Shepherd, Grace. They are expecting another baby this August. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys hiking, training for competitions and triathlons, studying philosophy and theology, and most of all, being with his family.
